Sintina Starts tommorrow, you know.

Well, it'll either be a blitzgreg where America utterly enhilates Iraq in 24 hours to two weeks of bombing, ending of course with the death of Hussein.

Or.

It'll be World War III.
With Spain, United Kingdom, United States, Japan, and China
against
Iraq, Iran, Germany, France, and North Korea. Possibly others.

I'm sure we'll win. But damn... a lot of our people are gonna die either way it goes, because we can't be stupid enough to think that Saddam isn't waiting for us out there.

The first wave of troops that go in to Baghdad to bomb or whatever are gonna get hit with all the mustard gas and anthrax he can throw at them. It's just obvious that this will happen.

That is a horrible, horrible, way to die.

Today, Bush and the leaders of Spain, England, and Portugal got on TV and basically said: "War starts tommorrow, folks."

Be ready to watch people die.

Heck, and I'm not even one of those people whose adamently against the war, and I'm sitting here talking like this!!

Crazy.

I need a drink.

1PM tommorrow, Central Standard Time.

Either the next Dessert Storm, small, minor, not too many lives lost... or World War III.

What a difference a day makes.

minnesota_chris I'm kinda thinking dessert storm, perhaps just an after dinner brandy. 030316

u_shup_u Never mind WW3, there will be no such thing. What is obvious is that the US holds far to much monetary power, and theres not a nation in the world besides them, other than perhaps China, that when things come down to the crunch wouldn't give into any whim that the US desiered for fear of imbargo action by the yanks. 030316

the queen of hearts You arragant fuckers.

It's not world war 3, it's America's war.

Don't include the rest of the world in your narrow minded visions.

It's your president, you get all the guilt and blame for your very own.

LifeLoveSoul Wars remind me how fucked up the world was, is, and always will be.

It reminds me to not take life for granted...even if I still do.

War reminds me to fucking enjoy my life. At least I played some basketball this weekend. I even wrote again in my journal this weekend.

I hate the cycle I keep going in. War reminds me of that and to change things if I don't like them.

Why am I writing this from a desk at a place I cannot stand? Probably because it is easier to write these things than to actually do them. But why is it so hard to DO them?

And the wheels of the cycle I live in continue to spin 'round and 'round, and I watch another gift that we call a "day" pass me by. This keeps happening until things are changed.

War...not the best way to spend an afternoon.

cube I was pleased to hear today that Canada will NOT be taking part in this war. Not that our contribution would be anything more than symbolic anyway - Canada has no armed forces to speak of.

Not surprising really; we have always sided with the United Nations and prefer diplomacy to war. This is what one becomes when living between two superpowers such as the US and the USSR...

wingedSerpent Hey, queen of hearts, some of us actually did vote against him. It's not like we all unanimously decided to put the little jackass in office.

Of course, thanks in no small part to the Florida Ballot 5/4 waltz that took place in the US Supreme Court, wherein the five justices appointed either by his father or his father's predecessor voted to affirm his election amid the disputed results, we are now faced withg the sorry prospect of being governed by a more blatant brand of the type of imperialists that the rest of the world has always accused us of being anyway.

I'm surprised that someone hasn't already affixed some variant of the title of Caesar upon our so-called leader, the little oil-monkey

User24 Sintina:

no-one can win a war. It is impossible; as soon as one person dies, you have lost.

the question, therefore, is not

"who will win?", but
"who will lose least?"
