minnesota_chris what is the most rewarding use of your time? And least rewarding?

your friend south of the border

pobody Hey Chris! *waves* =)
Without a doubt, the most rewarding use of my time is the time i spend with my nephews (courtesy of my sister!) while babysitting them. I like to do crafting projects and play board games and stuff
with them. My sister doesen't do that kind of stuff with them, and they're always asking to play the board games when they come here, so i think they really appreciate me doing it.

And i think the least rewarding use of my time is probably a tie between drying dishes and making my bed. Drying dishes seems like such a waste of time for me, because i know if you stack them the right way, they'll dry themselves. And as for keeping a tidy bed..i can only seem to keep it neat for a few days after putting new sheets on, and then when it starts to get messy i usually give up. *blushes*

mon uow hi pobody,

what crafting projects do you do?

mon uow and what's the most recent book you've read? and was it any good? 050311

pobody Hello, mon! =)
For myself,I like to do cross stitch needlework, and i've taught 4 of my nephews how to do plastic canvas needlework. I also like painting furniture and scheming up new decorating ideas for my room that's in desperate need of it. =/ And earlier this week i found some teapot shaped jewellery toggles that i intend to make into earrings. =)

As for the kids, this past summer i helped my sisters' 2 youngest boys make papermache fish to hang in their Spongebob themed bedroom, and then i helped them decorate wooden light switch covers to match the theme. I think they turned out pretty cool. =)

The last actual novel i attempted was a disappointment. It was Danielle Steele's "His Bright Light". Some of the points she brought up about manic depression were interesting, but i was disappointed with her writing style, and gave up with 1/3 of the book left to read. =/

whitechocolatewalrus dear pobodys_nerfect,

what is your favorite?

why do you love?

if trees were people what would people be?
050313
...
pobody Walrus! I haven't talked to you in this blue loveliness in ages. (Come to think of it,it's been ages since i've talked to anyone whose posed a question here so far--i hope you're all doing well,& thanks for asking me the q's. =D )

It's hard to ask a gemini what their favourite ANYTHING is(we're indicisive),
but i think it would probably be blue skies. Ya know, when the sky is that really pretty blue, and there's a few fluffy white "cotton ball" clouds here and there, and the sun is shining but it isn't too warm? I love those days any time of the year(and i like the Diana DeGarmo song with the same name).

Even though i've had alot of negative experiences that came from being in love,i still look to it as ultimately being a positive and hopeful thing,so i love because i see how the positive outweighs the negative. =)

If trees were people(that's a neat thought btw),i think people would be flowers--they require water and food, plus they come in all shapes and sizes & colours, just like humans do.

dreamer dear pobodys nerfect,

do you know how to make a pound cake? why or why not?
050314
...
pobody Hello,Dreamer! *waves*
I have at least a few recipes for poundcake, but i've never actually made one. Not because i have anything against them, mind you--i'm good at baking cakes and the basic poundcake recipe looks easy--guess i just haven't been adventurous enough to try one. I saw a nice poundcake recipe over at the martha stewart website with a yummy lemon glaze. I should make it. =)
