mix_tape shiva goddamn this is hard. juggling lyrics, mood, transitions, time. trying to put stuff she will like as well as what i like. making something she will actually listen to without giving her music she already has. trying to find quality versions of stuff i don't actually own. macroscopic form and microscopic flow. personality. perfection. yeah. i guess i'm just being a perfectionist. nevertheless, i am not going to do this for just anyone. she better appreciate it. 010404 ... silentbob im an artist. i steal others emotions and art and i stick them together and say, "LOOK AT ME! APPRECIATE IT!" i always use black ink and punk rock. 010404 ... dB Where's that from S' Bob? 010404 ... stupidpunkgirl rich made me a mix tape after he found out that they're one of my favorite things in the world. it's been playing in my car ever since. it's been quite awhile actually.....i'm making him one for when he gets his coat back called rich's coat pocket mix. i promised him that i'd fill his coat pockets with fun things for when i gave it back...i'm thinkning about putting in my rancid button too...but i'm not sure about that yet. oh to talk about nothing 010404 ... silentbob its not from anything its all me 010405 ... alkalinepixie i made him a mixtape. it takes me hours to do. it has to be perfect. i made him a mixtape and he lost it. 010405 ... shiva ohhhh. ouch folks. 010405 ... ataris falling for you was the easy thing to do if only somehow i could get you to hang around youre in your room at night, i hope you'll be singing along and make me a tape of your favorite songs 010623 ... silentbob i made her a mix tape so she could hear alkaline_trio in her car (alkalinetrio?) and she made me one so i could hear classic rock on my own. on the other side was some weird bluesy stuff. on the tape that i made her Algebra One's "Fireball" cut off before it even gets to the countdown. So i made her ANOTHER tape, this one two hours long, this one jam packed with hearty goodness. she adored both of them. but the tape player in her car is brutal and it devoured the second tape. she was sad. 010706 ... shiva she didn't like it much. too much metal, i guess. i don't even listen to much metal lately. she said she was making me one. it has been four or five months. she made him one within three weeks. she still says it is on its way. she says a lot of things. 010918 ... ClairE My first one from him, I left in my Walkman, in my winter_coat pocket, in the girls' locker room, freshman year? sophomore year? whatever. Someone had stole everything out of my pocket when I had returned.
