The only thing I wanted was a walkman and the Bat Out of Hell2 tape so I could have the song "I Would do Anything for Love" Now I have 6 different MeatLoaf cd's. But anyway. MeatLoaf is my dad's favorite singer which I didn't know until after he became my favorite singer. Therefore MeatLoaf's music has always been that little thing that my father and I had together. Our little thing that we had in common. I never knew music could have such an effect on me. My all time favorite MeatLoaf song is "Bat Out of Hell" hands down. Just listening to that song can either make me just cheese from ear to ear. Or just cry my eyes out when hearing the music flow through my ears. I would do anything to be able to go to a MeatLoaf concert with my dad. I don't know if MeatLoaf even would have a concert anymore. But I would still do anything for that chance to be there and hear him sing... 020429 ... Kate My dad also loves Meatloaf, and I borrowed (since this summer) his Bat Out of Hell remastered CD and memorized it all, and Bat out of Hell is definately a great song. My favourite memory of this song was during cross country season when we had a speed workout at the Ledges, and we had to run 12 consistantly timed 400m dashes around a mapped out and muddy course. I always run my best when I'm focused on a song and I remember I kept singing Bat out of Hell in my head to help me push through the pain. It was a wonderful memory. 020508 ... The thing hes not doing is "doing it better then I do it with you so long..." in that line of the song. So its talking about whatever he said in the sentence before which is different each time.
