your disguise is so clever that i don't know who you are/were, but i think you'd be fun to go to a bar with (generally hang out with, probably, but for some reason alcohol comes to mind)

Why, thank you. I've thought the same of you. The screen name is from an old lyric of mine, not too clever, actually. I was introduced to the blue years ago by unhinged in college. I check in on her periodically, and this time it stuck. She may have a thing or two to say about how fun I am to hang/ drink with, but it sure has been a while. A decade at least. Yikes. Anyway, I'm in the Cleveland area, if you're here ever, look me up.

i noticed you and unhinged seemed to know each other, so i figured there was probably an old blather name somewhere along the line. crazy how long we've all been writing here... and thanks, and likewise should you ever plan to visit toronto. i went to cleveland once back in 2001, to see a tool concert, when my best friend and i were graduating high school and naïvely thought that was the last time we'd really be able to hang out and/or see tool.

Oh god, Harrisburg. I had almost forgotten. Never been to Toronto. I've heard wonderful things, though. Definitely on my list of future destinations. I almost had a honeymoon planned for Montreal. (A Canadian colleauge tells me these cities are rivals?) And you, unhinged, whenever you're back in the CLE, I owe you a million drinks. Free taxi service to and from Hicktown. ;)

toronto and montreal rivals? hmm, i wouldn't say that. i'd think that more of toronto and vancouver (people over there call ontario "onterrible") but any rivalry is usually one-way. people dislike toronto because they think it thinks it's the centre of the universe. i have no comment on that. :) seriously, though, it is a nice city, and montreal's great too. it's got a completely different flavour.

or sometimes my other sister's kids convince me to stay with them in middleburgh heights. either way, i don't stay out in the cow pastures anymore when im seldom in OH. my parents moved to a similar hick town old people village in AZ about the same distance from phoenix. there is a swimming pool in the yard and a golf course beyond the fence. my mom has picked up her art that she left behind when she had kids. she proctors the ceramics workshop in their retirement village. some of the stuff is for quick sale; others are abstract art pieces that people say she could get serious cash for. my dad sits around watching sports or playing cards, which after 30 years of hard labor is well deserved. im glad to have a sunny place to visit in the winter could have just emailed all that but enjoys cluttering blather with chatting and details of her personal life
