is anyone else just a little tired of the sudden bandwagon of having a band that is a word and a number? everyone these days has it. this doesnt really have anything to do with how the band sounds...its just a little strange that everyone originally and creatively decided to have their name be word and number. like these folks here:

There were 2 word and number bands when i was very young in memphis. One was a shitty cover band called yellow 5 and the other was a pretty hip punk-ish band called red 40. Not only are they both memphis word and number bands, but also both named after food coloring.
