i'm (vaguely) making a blog website pour moi, and possibly pour vous, if I decide to make it a community thing. I may either not make it community at all, make it so anyone can sign up, or do it invite-only to limit it to friends. Most likely the final.
I like domains that incorporate the TLD in the word, eg del.icio.us, blo.gs, chaoti.ca etc, but i'm not that bothered.
you may find puremango.co.uk/domain_country.php useful to see if a two letter ending is valid.
