Uneducated by the system, he went about his own path of learning alone, and fell among the wrong crowd. I appears the more things change the more they stay the same. Damn kids, they never learn. How can they learn when they are not taught? How can they aspire to higher goals when all they learn from the system and even their families is apathy, greed, deceit and denial. Those of us who rose up in the first digital generation, feeling our way through the minefields, ache when we see another young one stray. Another cracker is born, it didn't have to be this way. Yell monster loud enough and the monster will manifest itself. Tell the children that they are wasting their time, and it will be a waste. Let them forge their own hell in the digital depths of the planet. They don't deserve your concern. You do not deserve ours. We who came first now run the systems that bring you your daily depravity, and answer your pathetic phone calls for technical support. I guess they really don't need your concern. You need theirs. In not too long a time they will be pushing us out, did you teach them respect, or did you rule with fear? They have learned from your example. And soon you will depend on them. Just as you depend on us, more everyday. I say to you, encourage the children to learn, do not discount their young uneducated theories. They see through new eyes. Make their journey an exciting one of exploration. We cannot bring them up properly alone. They are too many, and they are your responsibility as well. It can't be done. It doesn't work that way. That's not how it is. All uninspired teachers have the same answers. Retire, make room for those who actually give a shit. The fate of the new are in your hands and shouldn't be, but soon your fate shall lay in theirs. That may be possible. It might work that way. Let's find out how it could....
