And the bright eyed boy realized that he was merely one out of a crowd in her eyes. He felt the slap of fate burn on his fair skin and lamented on the connection he had with this strange girl. She came from a place he never knew. She was truly a city girl, surrounded by sparkling lights, noisy cars, and a plethora of cheerful or bitter people. Their chance meeting was no chance meeting at all. He simply had no idea that it had been her will to reach out and meet him in some way, despite having a world between them. Whether they would uphold a solid gold friendship was up to him now. He had to decide whether he could endure the reality that she had connections elsewhere with others too. The cruelty of chance had not passed over him without leaving damage and he was left standing there on the edge pondering what he would do next. In his mind the real was confused with the ideal and perhaps the person he so admired didn't really exist. It didn't matter much though. She would always be there no matter what, and she would never forget the silent laughter they shared that early morning. It was more than she could handle and she knew the chain formed from this laughter would not be easily broken. The cruelty of chance had touched them both by showing them that many people can connect each day in such a profound way. Yet too often these people are worlds apart and cannot pursue what they should. It is a refined form of joy embraced by pain. Only the strength of a friendship between lands could survive such obstacles.

a moment or two, little more is needed for the song i ask my self to now sing. an instant of wonder, struck twice by panic and joy as the twins danced through his body, tiredeyed Mirkas fell to the ground in his betrayal. his words meant little to many his silence allowed dozens of souls to wriggle free from their bodies, reaching for the heavens above. ladark was burning, and the traitor mirkas caged within by his host's creul game, the betrayer lay on his cold slab betrayed and broken
