coke_and_beer_mix_well_together Dafremen Ok, so I reach into the freezer for my monster 64 ounce mug and prepare to pour myself some Coca-Cola. I noticed a little bit of ice at the bottom of the mug (bout a half inch or so) and assumed it was water from when I last washed the thing. Nope. That was frozen beer. Pacifico to be exact. I found this out as I started sipping my Coke and noticed a distinctly familiar barley and hops aftertaste. "Mmmmm that's not too bad!" I thought to myself. Then I went on a mental ad campaign for the latest soft drink in the endless parade of spin offs out there: Coke and Beer. But what to call it? Coke Nuts? (It's got barley in it.) Pacificoke? Coke N Suds? Damn, now I've gotta go to the store. I've got some Coke, but I'm all out of beer. P.S. My buddy, a welder and machinist, says that Coca Cola eats through stainless steel. Some folks are like me, they can't resist a really sto0pid show. Spectacles are just as entertaining as anything else as long as folks don't get hurt. I've always kinda played this guy like he's enjoying it just as much as I am. That makes it that much easier to just go with it, let him do his thing, I do mine and noone has to make anything of it. I never was a very competitive guy, there's plenty of limelight and spectacle for all of us the way I see it. I'll try to keep him going unless it offends anyone in which case he'll hush eventually, and if not...that's on him. : ) 030819 ...
