the closer the friend the more you know about each other an the less you hurt each other... apparently! wots the horrible truth? its that no-matter what, the closer the friend, the easier they can hurt you without realising. they think they know what will just annoy you and what will REALLY make you feel bad about yourself, but they dont. sometimes you dont want to argue with some things a close friend says, and eventually that friend might hit the peak of ur anger without realising theyve done anything wrong! a close friends close friend can also affect you greatly. for one thing, the 2nd hand close friend knows even less than a 1st hand close friend, so they can hurt you more and not know when to stop. but on the other hand, a 1st hand close friend will want to know what they have done wrong straight away and you dont even want 2 talk 2 them or anyone, so you hate them even more, whereas a 2nd hand friend will not be so insistant to know the wrongdoing, and will just leave you be, so you can easily recover from the hurt and resume talking to them sooner rather than later! but who knows? maybe the truth is you do not know your close friend/s as well as you could and might just as easily make the same mistake! maybe, we should all take some time to get to know our close friends true personalities, likes, dislikes, and feelings! i hope i can do this much at least!

#moral# dont get too involved with anyone until you can be sure they're perfect. most people can screw you up and will, but thats they way the world revolves i think. 'if you stay out of other's lives they won't fuck up yours' - an apoligetic gez (though i suppose it won't mean much at the moment)

All my close friends are currently not geographically close (I count three in that category).

to me, there are different types of friendships, but if you think of it like that, then i guess replace "close friends" with "friends."
