what unimaginable oblivion, palpable nails pounded into coffin oblivion it must be to awaken to a world that you believe god is dead in.. if i held that in the fatherhood of my shuddering soul i think i would inevitably evaportate..or become so dessicated that i would becom a pillar of ash...

i have not found a way to say that a thing does not exist without conjuring it and then denying it's existence. this may be a semantic issue, but it looms large in the semiotics of english.

the definition of everything is dependent on everything. hence there are no absolutes ever, and everything in the universe is inextricably intertwined forever. no such thing as a loner any more.

actually storky spely beauvoir's name right. and day before i came across a fat book that was the sum of her letters to sartre, published by her adopted daughter...i flipped through it and it was like reading her diary. i think publishing anyone's letters- to ANYONE, not just a love/lover- is a horrible breach of privacy and trust. terrible, i felt MOST awful that such a book had to exist. its degrading to be have your emotions waved around on a flagpole like that, even if you WERE a person of repute. not good.

i didn't read it, that's the point :P 'a thousand kisses, my darling' leaped out as i was fast-flipping the pages (y'know, when you fan the pages with your thumb) and smacked me in the head. so i hid it on the shelf and went looking for the pomes section.

reading nausea - glad it's not senseless philosophical dribble that i've previously had to endure - instead it's an intriguing narrative with the feeling of detachment in a city - something to which i can relate...

i like that it didn't have an ending - it just sort of drifted out the way i feel lately - that existentialism is a disconcerting feeling, what sartre called the Nausea - i feel it every day now. every inhalation sucks in more anxiety, my stomach tightening with the sense of being lost. where am i now? when did i get here? & no one seems to know like me.
