unhinged rutter

it is one of the most beautiful of musical expressions kind of in the line of reading the tibetan book of the dead to people who have died. listening to these masses calms my soul like nothing else. i think the latin translation is ingrained in my subconcious. requiem aeternam dona eis domine

the durufle is i think the MOST beautiful. it creates the shining light of heaven in music. my heart is soothed my breath comes more easy. my whole life smiles in a bitterly wonderful way. listen. sssshhhh...just listen. you can hear the footsteps of god.

libera mae domine
Shenavyre Faure

You sing Faure's requiem, Motzart's requiem, Verdi's requiem. Your life changes, you live.

Et lux perpetua.
BioHazzard A requiem for a dream, for it's not our obsessions that drive us to our lost of sanity or death, it's our addictions..... 010918
unhinged i haven't been in a church since this whole thing started last week, but i was tempted a few times. i just wear my crosses and listen to my requiem masses and cry. some might even consider my thoughts prayers.

agnus dei qui tolis peccata mundi donna eis requiem
lost i love the song by corey taylor from the strait up tour it's called requiem 010919
Fire&Roses A softly floating whispers
The touch of things unseen
The pure sweet melody
A requiem for a dream

The stillness of the morning
A chapel by it's right
The death of fantasy
That comes with early light

A gusty wind the chaplin
The singing birds it's choir
And so passes a dream
A victim of the sun's bright fire
Mahayana quietus requiem
quills the ink
Mahayana resonating 2 the mutes soul
[something she can 'finally' hear]
silentbob and at your funeral
i will sing the requiem

Arwyn requiem aeternam dona eis, Domine,
et lux perpetua luceat eis.
Te decet hymnus Deus in Sion,
et tibi reddetur votum in Jerusalem.
Exaudi orationem meam,
ad te omnis caro veniet.
Dona eis Domeni, dona eis requiem aeternam
et lux perpetua luceat eis.

Dies Irae, dies illa
solvet saeclum in favilla:
teste David cum Sibylla
Quantus tremor est futurus,
quando judex est nenturus,
cuncta stricte discussurus

Tuba mirum spargens sonum
per sepulchra regionum,
coget omnes ante thronum.
Mors stupebit et natura,
cum resurget creatura,
judicanti responsura
Liber scriptus proferetur,
in quo totum continetur,
unde mundus judicetur.
Judex ergo cum sedebit,
quidquid latet, apparebit:
Nil inultum remanebit.
Quid sum miser tunc dicturus?
Quem patronum rogaurus?
cum vix justus sit securus.

Rex tremendae majestatis,
qui salvandos salvas gratis,
salva me, fons pietatis.

Recordare, Jesu pie,
quod sum causa tuae viae:
ne me perdas illa die.
Quaerens me, sedisti lassus:
redemisti crucem passus:
tantus labor non sit cassus.
Juste judex ultionis,
donum fac remissionis
ante diem rationis.
Ingemisco, tamquam reus:
culpa rubet vultus meus
supplicanti parce Deus.
Qui Mariam absolvisti
et latronem exaudisti
mihi quoque spem dedisti.
Preces meae non sunt dignae
Sed tu bonus fac benigne,
ne perenni cremer igne.
Inter oves Locum praesta
et ab haedis me sequestra,
statuens in parte dextra.

Confutatis maledictis,
flammis acribus addictis.
Voca me cum benedictis.
Oro supplex et acclinis,
cor contritum quasi cinis:
Gere curam mei finis.

Lacrimosa dies illa,
qua resurget ex favilla
Judicandus homo reus:

Huic ergo parce, Deus.
Pie Jesu Domine,
Dona eis requiem. Amen.

Domine Jesu Christe, Rex gloriae,
libera animas omnium fidelium
de poenis inferni,
et de profundo lacu.
Libera eas, de ora leonis.
Ne absorbeat eas Tartarus,
ne candant in obsurum:
sed signifer sanctus Micheael
repraesentet eas in lucem sanctam
Quam olin Abrahae promisisti,
et semini ejus.

Hostias et preces tibi Comine Laudis
tu suscipe pro animabus illis,
quarum hodie memoriam facimus:
fac eas, Domine, de morte transire ad

Sanctus Dominus Deus Sabaoth
Pleni sunt caeli et terra gloria tua
Osanna in excelsis.

Benedictus qui venit in nomine Domini.
Osanna in excelsis.

Agnus Dei,
qui tollis peccata mundi:
dona eis requiem sempiternam.

Lux aeterna luceat eis, Domine:
cum sanctis tuis in aeternum, quia pius es.
Requiem aeternam dona eis, Domine,
et lux perpetus luceat eis.
Cum sanctis tuis in aeternum,
quia pius es.

TalviFatin I love you, Aimee...
I cry every time I sing that song...
And remember Quando? from Pergolesi's Stabat Mater? I have been itching to sing that...Oh how I long to create beautiful music.
Mandijabster requiem of a dream...its a very rad movie. very weird and probably a lot more interesting if on acid...but a great movie none the less. 031207
niecespieces Her mother died.
It made me think of how tragic that can be, but how vital closure can make something so painful so managable, so "actually reality".

It made me think of what I would do if I were to loose my mother.
Part of me thinks that I could move from it easily, very easily, too easily.
Does that make me a terrible person?
That I don't think I would react terribly if one of the two people that created me died?
I think that because I lack love, support, or friendship from her, yes.
It still makes me a bad person.
auburn I often think that I won't mourn my mother dying. At least not for long.

It makes me feel like a tragically horrible person.
auburn Oh wow. I definitely don't feel like this anymore. Now, I fear her death almost more than my own. 110313
