yeah, my poor tummy was fucked up all the time when i was really stressed. ever_since i started taking care of my stress, my stomach problems have all but disappeared. i very rarely have acid problems anymore. i also just watched a video on balancing ph in the body and what foods we eat create an alkaline affect and which ones create an acidic affect. turns out animal products and processed foods create acid in the body. and i've cut out a good amount of both of those in recent years. *shrugs*

my acid problems are chronic/diagnosed and i take drugs accordingly (and unfortunately... one day i hope not to have to) i just don't understand why they flare up sometimes when i don't feel overly stressed

maybe it's something you're eating? when mine were really bad, people told me to give up coffee, cigarettes, spicy food, alcohol. none of which i was really willing to do. i understood my friend who was lactose intolerant but had bowls of cereal with milk anyways a lot better after that.

i've already been avoiding all that stuff, and i've tested for food allergies but thanks for the suggestions it's a constant struggle/quest (that turned really bad these last couple of months for some reason)

i didn't see this before, ouroboros; thanks for the concern. i never completely found out what the pain was from, though i did do some food allergy testing with a naturopath and have been avoiding trigger foods, which has helped a lot. i highly, highly recommend doing that for anyone who has unexplained health issues.
