I've been scrambleing trying to get as much info as I can on the WTC situation for, shit about 15 hours now. The more i dig up on who may or may not be responisble, the more I uncover about the history of the conflict that started this mess, the more I stumble around tracin gthis thing back to it's source and it's possible outcomes... the more scared I get. The media aren't covering the whole story, and from what I can tell the world is not sure of the possibilities that lie ahead (most aren't good I assure you). I've been scanning radio talkback for the last 5 hours to try and guage the populations thoughts because they too have a say in where this goes, and they are all saddened by this, but they are powered now by their own paradnoia, if they have not got over the shock. So now I do the only thing I can think of. I'm mounting a vigil on the lookout at the top of the hill that seperates my town from the main city. I'm going to call in as many favours and as many resources in the media that I have to publicise it. I'll be there sundown on friday until sunrise on saturday. This is something I feel I have to do. Not just to remember those that dies at the pentagon and WTC, but all who have died needlessly because of hateful acts from humans. My name is now changed as well. I am now Negative one dB. The number will grow less or more depending on the actions of the world in the following months. I feel a great pity and sorrow for mankind today (more so than most days), and I swear that every means at my disposal will be used to promote the notion of peace. Our leaders don't seem capable. Now if ever, the population needs to take a stand. Then again, you probably think I'm crazy anyway.

My mother had a pen-pal who used to sign his letters "The Fool on the Hill". They would send each other quotes they found and liked and had written on index cards. She dumped the letters years ago but has the cards in a box.
