it's 8.03AM, normally I'd be busy getting dressed, ready for work, but, today is saturday, I woke up with linds to hear the birds of dawn, she went off to work, and now, I await the blather_dawn blather is still giving me yesterday's recent list, you see, and I wonder if, when I hit "blather" it'll be tomorrow yet. I feel so expectant, so rushed, almost. I don't want to miss the dawn, I want to see an empty 'today' column, should I check recent before I blathe this, to see whether it's past midnight wherever blather is yet? I know that by the time I get to work ~9am, dawn has broken, and a few early blathes have surfaced, bleary eyed, so, now, at 8.06, it should have turned. I Alt-Tab and refresh to see... ohh!! it's still yesterday.. I can't wait for it to turn into tomorrow. I've never witnessed the blather_dawn yet, in all my years here, I've always been a late-night blatherskite, which, in blather_time, means about midday.. I'll just check again.. no, still yesterday, I think I'll catch up on what went on yesterday. maybe people enjoy watching the dawn (I certainly do) because it relieves them of all responsibility. you just can't do anything about it! get a phone call "Sorry, I don't know when I'll be available, I'm waiting for the Sun to come up... no, I have no idea when that'll be, I'll phone you back if it doesn't make it today, ok? Bye." I mean, it's great, I'm waiting for the blather_dawn, and there's nothing I can do about it, I can't leave my seat, becuase if I miss it, I'll have to 'nevermind' the whole blathe, I can't go elsewhere for the same reason, I just have to sit.. and wait. I'm going to have an early morning cigarette. I might have to do this more often, though it'll prove quite hard, a I'm normally on the bus at this time, and, as I said, the blather_sun has risen by the time I get to work. this is fun, you should try it tomorrow

Depending on the time of year, blather is either at GMT minus 7 (April through October) or at GMT minus 8 (rest of October up to the corresponding point in April) I do believe that blather's clock is based on Pacific Time (U.S.)
