I wanna be Ommegang if I have to be a beer. ... 040812 ... minnesota_chris well you're cute too, but I wasn't talking about that. 040812 ... sab i stood out on the street the other night, waiting for the bus it was a dark night, no moon it would be nice to say there was a million stars, but the city, strung with neon_pearls does not allow me lights that arnt her own shes a fickle bitch, some nights but i love her all the same. the dark was indespersed with windows into lives ive never touched kitchens fogging up with cooking food dinner tables tvs painting ceilings that flickering blue silohettes of people who have learned to close the blinds and i stood in the cold breathing out foggy clouds of my life waiting for the bus it lit up the road as it arrived and i got onboard it was deperatly bright inside, so bright it washed away anything from outside instead we sat in a mirrored bubble of ourselves as we traveled along. i hadnt bought a ticket. the bus seemed bigger than they usually do, more spacious, not in a brochure way, but in the way that the desert seems kind of spacious. and i gazed across this vast expanse of empty seating empty aisle and there she was sitting there bag held in loose hands as she gazed out the window into her own reflection she was one of the girls you see sometimes that holds themselves a certian way or tilts their heads at just that angle or you hear a word or a sentance and thats it your done your done for i watched her, off and on, for the entire journey she was still, like she'd stopped like i'd caught her in an extended second of stillness and any moment now she would move but jsut for this second this very second she was still she was still she was still i watched her for the whole trip and she never moved she could well have been contempative or a marionette she had that long legged grace about her that tugs at my heart the kind that daddy long legs do kind of spindally kind of arkward but graceful nonetheless although she never moved she might have died and i might have fallen in love with a corpse that night or a doll or a girl who didnt move the entire trip home beautiful_stranger beautiful_strangers make the night gleam 040824 ...
