People who have them are setting themselves up for disappointment. I hate the saying "Love conquers all", because it's so untrue. Love isn't some kind of miraculous thing that can heal whatever it touches. Love itself has to be conquered, one often has to work at love. So, does that saying maintain that love can conquer its own problems?

Love is staying when the euphoria is over. Love is thinking of the other person before yourself. Love is being humble when you have every right not to be. Love is about what you give, not what you take.
Most younguns (and immature people) think that gitty "Oh, he/she is just so awesome! Together we can do anything!" feeling is what love is. Its not. Its a natural reaction of the body to help propagate mating. If your "so in love" with someone but you can't recall their birthday, why their eye ticks like that, or the names of their parents, your just fooling yourself.
