oldephebe brownies - mmm with chocolate chips and swirls of peanut butter and ice cold milk fresh from the quakertown dairy - that's good eatin' - can't eat 'em now though - not with this metabolism of a mollusk that i have now...

*oldephebe again growls a gray hymm to diminishing potentialities - and the contracting parameters of what to him is an acceptable diet* (and somewhere a stringent grammarian is howling)

oldephebe man evoking the echoes of ginsbergs' genious thunder..scib ribity beebop...

or Lear's Lamentations...Howl...Howl..the gravely manic melodious tenor voice serrating the sky with each syllable..willy sid da shakes was a baaaad man

King's injunctions that reached out and ripped america out of it's comfort, out of it's moral obtuseness, out of ante bellum entropy and into the age of the Human.

Wolfman Jack...That cat was sooo cool. I seriously thought he was a brother when i was a kid...when i saw his grizzled likeness years later..waddashock

Howl baby where ever and when ever you need to...

oE Lear...grief stricken..if you get to see someone really inhabit the lines, the role..Lear's howls..impale you with the power of his grief...to transmit THAT..that is the trick.. 040113

pipedream i've been reading ted hughes' version of 'alcestis', and its fantastic....it plays out something dynamite onstage, i've been picturing it and wowza.

othello got my gut...'dead? dead, my love?' i mean...yeah, he was a murderer but it was just so, so sad... :/

...
oE yeah pd..willy really captured the whole range of human reactions..the soul writhing inside the murderous heart..we are so many striations and slivers of gray light...this ted hughes you speak of..is he the same ted h. who was married to sylvia plath?..i've got serious bias issues regarding that guy..

how's that wedding coming..are you guys hitched yet?

...
pipedream ja, same ole guy...personal biases shouldn't colour the way you read someone; art for art's sake and all, my dear.

yeah, we's married, i lobbed the bouquet etc and we're all attackin' the buffet now hahahaha

oE passion flower, i am flawed, i am a repository of deeply held biases and prejudices, and while i recognize and even mildly regret them i am wed to them at an almost atavistic level..inextricably intertwined..i feel such a kinship and adoration of sylvia's work, her life..and yes given her chemical imbalance(s) she may have wound up authoring her demise anyway..but..there it is..we are creatures of impulse and heart swollen cauldron fires..the dictates of reason often recede like a swiftly dopplering sigh..dying on the vine..what can i say?
