His blue volvo wins the award for Shittiest Car I Have Ever Driven. I've done plenty of sitting in the front seat, slamming shut the duct-taped door. Also opening the driver's side door is difficult, and practically impossible to open from the inside. This necessitates the driver climbing over the passenger seat to get out that door. Times in the car include : listening to many mixtapes, singing along like a dork, the events at the beginning of college_head_shift, going to get Guster tickets, driving in rain at night, taking me to see the ocean so I'd calm down, driving me to the airport and getting completely lost (airport is south, we ended up further north of our starting destination), much playing of the Red Light Game. Just to name a few. Tuesday night I finally got to drive it after hanging out with his roommate and friends at our college pub. I agree to be designated driver and play with the loop of his keys under the table. His drunk roommate plays with my hair. A few drinks later we go out to find the car. The car is parked in the art museum lot and I am very excited to drive such an old, beat-up, terrible thing. I determine that it is worse than my Driver's Ed car. Then we head out to the grocery store around 1 AM, where I get all the things necessary for key lime pie, which I bake around 2 AM. That car is good times. Another little_things_remind_me_of_you

The response from the owner of the car upon finding this blathe: "oh, so the blue volvo isn't good enough for you. A diatribe shall be laid out that sends you to all the forsaken islands in this imaginative world. The blue volvo shitty? A drunken roommate? Well, as Eminem once said, "Fuck you, Debbie!" While this bears little on the current situation in which we find ourselves, I feel his emotion most accurately conveys the very hurt, pain, suffering and utter indignation I have for your little "essay", if it can even be called such a thing; a disgrace to both the english language and the swiss engineering masterpiece that I hold dear to my heart. And so, you may cry your little tears of pain, and laugh at my transportation, but thou shall never forget the greatness, the grandness, the very essence of the key lime pie I had for breakfast this morning. With whipped cream." ... I made that key lime pie.
