im gonna be a pirate. Everyday we'll sing shanties and look for booty. And if i starve i god damn starve but at least that's all. capitalism is all about individualism which is about the breaking of unspoken laws, or about the absence of certain laws, so please extend the concept enough for pirates to roam the seven seas again. The illusion that life isn't full of danger and the unexpected, isn't often short and ugly is just giving people expectations that crush them later...please....the time is right for pirates...the time is right for me to have at least one sail. One glorious sail was appreciated more then, when you knew each day you went deeper and deeper out to sea, and ricketed around like an abstraction in space, looking for some friction. And knowing a port would bring that. yay for ports and yay for pirates and boo for civilization, no swordfights, no nothing. Lots of romance novels written about pirates! Come on...am i romanticizing it? Maybe...but i'd still be a pirate even if it meant waking up hungry, being abused, feeling sick, tasting salt in the air, having to merely long everyday for the more subtle salt of my love's skin. And i wouldn't even care if i was one of those pirates they tricked and buried alive with the treasure, it's the risk you take. Please...who's with me? All you freeborn sons...all you society's outcasts...we sail at morn into the bonnie blue, we leave behind the moorings of land for the raging sea and all the illusions and treasures she posesses, you'll never have a more shifting lover, you'll never have a better reason to sing or cry. Come me lads, the hour is nigh and we can still conquer where even kings can't rule. Yo ho...yo ho...a pirate's life for ME
