Or by "we" did you mean to suggest the interconnectedness of all beings? I hesitate to posit this theory, though, because your near pathological attachment to argot would seem to neglect the 3rd noble truth.

So wait, kx21, hold on a second, let me see if I can understand this. You, the guy who speaks in acronyms and metonyms, who writes in a manner so circuitous that following his thoughts can be dizzying, who basically invents his own language to avoid directly expressing ideas that are otherwise rather simple, are advising me to speak using simpler words? I'm reminded of Cicero in De Oratore who (through the voice of Crassus) said, upon his reading of the Gorgias, "I conceived the highest admiration of Plato, as he seemed to me to prove himself an eminent orator, even in ridiculing orators.”

Lots of Buddhists love the string theory because it hints at an underlying unity. It's paradoxical, though, that although Buddhism ostensibly has no use for rationality, its adherents turn to science to validate their beliefs. What do you think, kx?

you don't need to understand rationally a state to achieve a state. knowing the physics of a homerun won't allow you to hit one. it doesn't hurt, however, to know a description of the universe which validates your efforts. it is something that at some point along the path, would have to be abandoned though.
