the conservative watchdog just needs to be kicked outside for the night.

Quit pressing your face up against the window
it will leave smudges.hands

purevision the rain so wet soaking the earth
untill it is full and the water starts runing racing down the mountain tops
taking with it earth and breaking deep into the mountain breaking stones loose and draging them into the river
breaking homes loose from the earth

and it is raining so heavy
now there is no
place for the rain to go the river
the river is muddy and overflowing and the rapid beat of the water is now a thrashing churning mess of stones and bridges and trees riping through the canyon it is like a hungery monster riping through the canyon walls shoving trees threw homes taking cars and buring them deep into the river bed
there is the clothes the personel belongs of people are every place u look

there is a house all gone but the toilet standing hooked to the cement block where someone once lived

lifes now just debree and people are now just laying limp or burried
I remember the copters flying people out of the canyon and laying the bodies on the lawn of a great hotel on hill that over loked the city
the way the hair stood up on my skin when i hear the copters flying in
and the tears that fell from my face
the great Thomson flood i will never forget i will never forget
and the pain i still feel for those who died and i was just 6

hsg Here comes the water.

All I knew and all I believed
are crumbling images
that no longer comfort me.
I scramble to reach higher ground,
some order and sanity,
or something to comfort me.

So I take what is mine, and hold what is mine,
suffocate what is mine, and bury what's mine.
Soon the water will come
and claim what is mine.
I must leave it behind,
and climb to a new place now.

This ground is not the rock I thought it to be.

Thought I was high, and free.
I thought I was there
divine destiny.

I was wrong.
This changes everything.

The water is rising up on me.
Thought the sun would come deliver me,
but the truth has come to punish me instead.

The ground is breaking down right under me.
Cleanse and purge me
in the water.

-tool

a masterpiece.
