best_concert_experiences Barrett Years ago, I went to a Pigface show. The band brought out one of those big blue and yellow inflatable rafts. Every member of the band (all nine of them) got in the raft and went out over the crowd, while still playing their instruments. When the last musician came out, the raft went too far out and fell. He ran back to the stage leaving the raft empty. So, I figured, "what the hell" and jumped in. The crowd picked up the raft and pushed it back to the stage. I ended up on stage dancing with the band for atleast half a song. That was one of the coolest fuck'n concerts I've ever been to. 001112 ... silentbob The Weakerthans. The Whole audience go emotionally involved like the singer was taking their souls and running them through a cheese grater. then they hung out after the show and talked to people. this girl was writing a note. i asked her who it was to. she said who do you think? i said are you gonna give it to him? she said, she was too scared. i said, I'll do it. she was so grateful. i hope the singer wasnt scared. i stuck it in his guitar when they werent looking and when i talked to him i told him it was there, that she had me put it there. i asked him his favorite movie. he said it was magnolia and the bass player hit on my friend zarah 001112 ... camille this would be my twin if i had one http://home.kabelfoon.nl/~vrvr/am322.jpg 001112 ... argo godspeed godspeed you emp you you you you you !you black! (black emp) godspeed you black emperor Otto Bar, Baltimore I never saw it coming. 001112 ... birdmad tie, bauhaus September 26, 1998 at the Mesa Amphitheatre and The Misfits at Gibson's in Tempe Oct. 29 '97 the first concert i saw with Samantha and the second to last for the misfits show we painted our face like skulls knowing that a big portion of the crowd would do the same, we got to one of the front corners of the stage and she danced like crazy and i was jumping about like a madman as the band played, and when it was over, i made my way through the crowd and got Jerry Only's autograph on her ticket stub and gave it to her...she thought that was pretty cool, then we went back to her place and got really high, laughing like maniacs at nothing 'till we both fell asleep from exhaustion the bauhaus show was the first anniversary of our first date and except for the traffic ticket we got on the way back to my place, the night was great and i managed to give her the present that one of her offhand mentions sent me in search of, a small item of jewelry in keeping with something that caught her fancy. 001112 what's it to you? who go blather from
