doars_calender_project Death of a Rose Losing His Mind I know many projects are conceived of in this here world of blue, but many seem to stall and fizzle out. Probably due to trying to live our lives I suppose. Anyways, I've always wanted an excuse to do up some calenders and ship them out to people. They would be instant classics like Rockwell, puppies, kittens, etc., etc. I'd fill the months with blathers hand picked by me (This tie was inspected by #5023)! and all graphics would be a personal testament to my artistic skills......(geez, even I don't believe that). And of course I'd cover the cost of shipping them out to any interested people (I am making an ass out of you and me when I say 'people'. Some contentious issue for kx21). Doar to all that put in their request I sincerely apologize. Here is my excuse that none of you received the promised calendar. I had done up RO's calendar and thought "Okay, something isn't right with this." So I started playing with things, rearranging pic's, searching for relevant quotes and such. I gave up in disgust after three days and thought I would let it sit for awhile until I could get my head back in focus. Then I started in on both WCW and Mourninglights calendars thinking I could do up a template as a base then personalize them later. I soon realized that I was very unhappy with what I was developing, even after getting them to the 75% completion. I gave up on them all as I was extremely critical of my work and the finished products. I will do something different and get them sent out but I'm not saying what or when. Maybe that will relieve a bit of the guilt I've been feeling ever since, maybe not.
