squint they played 4 songs in a row
that made me cry harder and then made me stop crying.
and i called the station
and i said thankyou for the last four songs. *sniffle* bye.

and I laid down and thought about nothing. all at once.

and they played

my voice.

jane i used to be so nervous, like i was calling a celebrity or something. always hoping they would play my voice.
i started talking to kevin, sort of fell in love with him in the most naive immature not love kind of way. maybe he just fascinated me because he had a job i could only dream about at that age. i called him every night for quite awhile. he recognized my voice, even played it a couple of times for me on the air.
i started calling all the deejays and asking them what their top five favorite artists were. i wrote them all down, i think i had about seven lists going. handy information to have.
i don't know what happened to kevin, i know he stopped being a dj after awhile. i wish i could get back to that time, where i was excited to call the radio station. nothing really excites me like that anymore. and i think its sad that growing older makes you jaded to such experiences. and i think it's sad that i'm so young and already so much like this
