"where are you going," she asked me, yelling into the rush of the arriving train, the clack of turning wheels. i didn't know her. i had been standing beside her for thirty-five minutes waiting for departure and we had not spoken, only exchanged minimal, guarded glances, as if eye contact was like an amish foto taboo, stealing the soul. air brakes hissed. passengers exited. i turned and looked into her waiting face, as if she had reached the alloted time to receive my answer and then i could go. i smiled. "philadelphia," i said. she blinked languidly.

and twists his mustache gleefully, but feels a twinge of guilt, untill he sees the hero arrive, and realizes, that he is not meant to be the hero. The train is tearing through the map like a liberated point, steaming down wood rails straining to remain parallel under it's massive hulking heaving. The hero is just a man in the distance, barely visible, not even aware of the parlorbox horrorshow going on in the mind of a man with a frankly ridiculous mustache, that tied a real girl down onto the tracks, and turned her very struggles for life into burlesque fun. The hero'd better run. Or can the villain pull a wicked twist and save her from himself. What a look for a romantic lead, who snickers when he's tickled.

what would you scream what would you claim to dream what would you yell i'm killing you, but i'm mad at myself what would you hope if this train's late, i got a gun, a kinfe and a rope. what would you need to accept your demise what have you seen with your own blood shot shaky eyes boy ties girl to the rail road tracks hops a bus and he never comes back you're lying looking at the sky you know that you're about to die. boy ties girl to the railroad tracks walking away he never looks back you know you got your hands all tied you know it's all a pack of lies boy ties girl to the railroad tracks hops a bus and he never comes back you sitting watching the setting sun just waiting for that train to come and when that train comes around the tracks you know there aint no turning back you hear the screeching of the brakes but honey train conductors braked too late.
