nobody ever says this to me, but the fact is that I DO have a very nice ass. but that's another point all together.
Mostly, people don't give compliments in general. Not to strangers, anyway.
It's too bad people are so restrained. We can't just take/give a compliment to a stranger, without being distrusted or seen as violating some boundry. Let alone without worrying about all the heavy "objectification" stigma, or whatever.
I'd love to be able to tell a woman I see in the street that she is beautiful. She would think I was a freak, or a pervert. okay, maybe I really AM a freak/pervert, but she shouldn't ASSUME that just because I'm breaking the "don't compliment strangers" rule! Anyway, she would certainly not take it well, and I might even get pepper sprayed or something. of course, saying "nice ass" is a much greater conceptual step, but I'm talking about a general idea here.
anyway, its frustrating. Working in downtown SF I see beautiful women every day, and I can't do a thing about it. I feel like a rocket that's chained to the lauchpad.

that's one compliment I've gotten from a lot more than one person (ok, not more than 10 people...but more than one)...but I look in the mirror [while using another mirror to see the reflection] and wonder: "what exactly is so great about this again?"
