Immortality consists largely of boredom. -- Zefrem Cochrane, % Immortality -- a fate worse than death. -- Edgar A. Shoaff % Life is the childhood of our immortality. -- Goethe % The first requisite for immortality is death. -- Stanislaw Lem % I don't want to achieve immortality through my work. I want to achieve immortality through not dying. -- Woody Allen

everyone wants to deny their moratality and somehow escape the inevitable death. immortatlity is the great universal human desire. strange that people hate their lives and still want to live forever.forever is a very long time. the enormity of the word escapes us

Are we talking Immortality in like you can not possibbly die? Or immortality like in if you are careful and don't mortally wound yourself you won't die? As in Elfin Immortality. In the first case it would have to include Invulnerability to be truely attractive, I mean, Why would I want to live forever as a decrepit aching old grouch, pain and infirmity with no end in sight. Hell I don't need that.

i think the general concept of immortality is eternally remaining in a physical state you like with none of the signs of aging and failing bodies. and invulnerability to major harm.
