this blathe was brought to you by a hand_me_down ibook. steel flower girl #2 (we're back on good terms, she's doing great, thanks for asking, keep your browser pointed towards blueegg.com to see what she's up to) was kind enough to hook me up. so now i'm getting used (or should i say "re"used, since i was diggin on macs waaaaay back in the day) to mac land. right now it's making my brain hurt, but i know in the long run it will be all good. right now i need to figure out how to scale the text so it looks like the blather i'm used to. then i need to start working on learning my way around this beast so that i can attack the next phase of the personal revolution.
it's funny to think that she was looking at this very screen almost exactly four years ago when she first saw my face. and days and love and the waning of love and growth and change and a reconfiguring of love and time and tide have all gone along side me on the path that has these fingers typing on this keyboard.

i'm trying to buy a macbook. i've been saving for about a year. its hard to close the deal though, seeing as they don't sell them in stores (at least not the one i want--they sell macbook pros in the stores around here) and i don't have a credit card. all these 'optional payment methods' are pains in the asses. soon i'll be pc-free, sooner if only apple would set up internet-interac or a similar, convenient payment system.

i went to the middle man, after finding that one of the many university and colleges in this city had one in stock. now i'm making my first macbook-based blathe. the blue is slightly different, but still the same. now all i have to do is get it as my background as it is on my big clunky pc that is sad and unused over on my desk.
