i emerged from the deep, cold and damp, to a brilliant blue, to the warmest sun. spring's afternoon dew was chased away and the embrace of summer drew out the leaves and blossoms. ice cream in the afternoon, nighttime strolls about, morning shops and markets, and evening beer on balconies. if the rest of the summer is half as nice as today, i will be a happy man.

it was very nice indeed. i have a cold, but lounging in the hot-but-not-too-hot sun has proven to be one of the best and most comforting remedies for it.

We'll all be complaining about how busy and insane it is here at work... if we even have time to think or feel anything but bicycles and foreign accents and flat tires or broke. Chains... I hope to still work here... I hope to still like working here and the people I work with too. Right now I feel good here. We all complain now about how boring and lonely it is here... how we can only clean the same bike so many times or how annoying all these little tasks are we get to do in the down time... there are still hard and busy days... but in between we take this slow spacious time for granted. I will take advantage of this time to improve my performance and usefulness here and get to know the company and my coworkers. It's th e kind of place th at is fun to work once it becomes second nature and your coworkers feel like friends even if just at work. Work_friends Work_family The new manager supervisor person (to this location) is much better. Th e last one wouldn't even say hello, just hand out write ups. This one actually asked to hear my s peach and answers to questions customers ask and then showed me how he does it and explained why he added subtracted or changed th ings, and he had good points, good sales skills. He was friendly and using the word fabulous is a must in this city ; ) Th at was a boring blathe, but I wanted to share my happiness with my work environment.
