Toxic_Kisses We came home
and there it was
just stuck their on our porch
unable to get down

It was by far the cutest little turtle my 5 yr old eyes had ever seen and I fell in love with it instantly

Mom said if it was still their when we came back from the pet store to buy it an aquarium to live in then we could keep it.

Still to this day I find that to be an odd order in which to have done things in, what if some how the turtle had found a way off our porch, what would we then do with the aquarium and all the nifty stuff we bought to go in it? 0.o?

I don't remember anything about the pet store but I remember BURSTING our of the car and running to make sure my new beloved turtle was still there. The car hadent actually come to a complete stop when I got out and Deb freaked out a little bit but it didn't matter bc my turtle was still there!!!!

(Being 5 the idea that the turtle did now ~belong~ to me but to nature was way beyond my reasoning at that time.)

I was so freakin frakin ECSTATIC!!!!
(Thats happy to the 10th degree of happiness)

We set up it's new home in our kitchen on our dining room table, and I had to make sure the aquarium was JUUUUUUST RIGHT because wanted my new little turtle friend to be happy ^.^

I only got to keep him for 3 weeks bc the news said that their was some kind of awful turtle sickness going around =( I cryed soooooooo much and was miserable for a really long time. Yet as time passed and I grew up I was actually glad that I'd let the turtle go bc he belonged in nature, that was his home, not being turtlenapped and held prisoner in my kitchen. Although I still miss the little guy and think of him when ever I see anything having to do with turtles ^.^
