i seem to be kind of against including such things in supposed-to-be-all-kinds-of-fun novels, which i guess is why i'm making no progress in the third harry potter. also, this next chapter looks like it has a lot of the every-second-sentence-a-put-down dialogue. but maybe it turns around and ends up not being about prison torture and the possibility of being murdered? am i exaggerating or something? i'm just like: YIKES. YIKES. i will read this stuff but it might inspire me to become some sort of literary therapist! but i know all-sorts-of-people would disagree with me, wouldn't they? also, i often get utterly dismayed and p.o.'d everytime there is a characterization of hermione, and pretty soon i'm going to be bullied into believing people like her are not real and worthy contributers to the even, well-balanced social milieu.... but i'm probably projecting a whole bunch here. will i have to consider this deeper and with more care to restore my trust in a humanity that caused these stories to be so popular? i guess i will forge forward.... but i think it's too dark for me, whatever the reason (or whatever). what is it, exactly, that is (not picking on people, just asking anybody that has an affinity) liked about harry potter? * (maybe it's WAY SAGITTARIUS, and it's clashing with my GEMINI, and that's the problem? i wonder which harry potter came out when pluto was transitting across from my ascendant. that's probably the worst reason why i seem to be having such the Bad Reaction.) so, wanna know. let me know because i literally need this conversation. whenever you feel like it, which could very well be never, and i can definitely understand. i will still have to go looking for it, though, due to such-the-disconnect-within-social-milieu.

the books (for me) only got better--- and yes, darker, but in a way the coincides with the bigger questions and moments of the human experience. 4th book is when it starts to really come together.

thanks, Ouroboros, i am more motivated to continue, and i was able to read the chapter that i got stuck on. that there chapter was really stuck, energetically. i also got stuck in the middle of an article about these "utopian" cruise ships and discovered a reason why that got stuck via wikipedia's entry on people from harvey_mudd, where i went to school. about a very unlucky mudd alum with his own wikipedia page.... like, a really, really mis-or dis- fortunate mudd alum. but that might just be my opinion, though, too. the two might be related, but i'm not going to worry about it. or, i am. or, no, i'm really not. hmmm. tomorrow is another day. and i'm not the artsiest of all the artists. or, maybe i am. i don't know.
