i am so skipping this new version with Nicolas Cage.
If you get the chance, see the original from the early 70's starring Edward Woodward.
It's not so much scary as fuckwithyourmind freaky, plus it gets bonus points for Christopher Lee being all weird and funky and Britt Ekland for pulling off the 70's hotness in a way that will make you say "Damn!" when she does her pagan dance

I have nothing against Nic Cage, I just think that going PG-13 on this is a titanic mistake on the part of the filmmaker.

I'll be interested to see if the movie can affect me as potently as the first one. Its difficult, though, to think it will. Along the same lines as hoping a book adaptation is gonna be as good as the book.

if they had decided to preserve the sexuality of the original (which i know they haven't) what actress they could have used in place of Britt Ekland...especially her musical seduction routine
Creepy atmospherics and eerie twists aside for a moment, i am ALWAYS in favor of a little well-plced t&a
between my spiriual particulars and my physical inclinations, i'd have fit in pretty well in the original film's little village

of course the first actress i'd like to see do that particular dance number would probably be Scarlett Johansson, if i even spelled her last name right.
Not necessarily saying she'd otherwise be right for that particular role, only suggesting that the horny fantasist - to paraphrase Stork Daddy - that lives in the recesses of my gray matter can easily imagine all sorts of prurient images involving Ms. Johansson

Just thought I'd fuck with you, but it turns out that while I can walk past the queue of strangers waiting for LOTR and proclaim loudly "I can't beleive they killed Gandalf", I can't do the same to fellow skites.
