perhaps you are wondering what the horrible thing is that feignez the woodpecker discovered upon returning to the wooden cart after her solo reconaissance mission. unfortunately you must continue to hang like a bat in the belfrey of suspense, yet be of good cheer for when the sun finally sets and you fly forth into the black night with words like stars, there will be plenty of juicy tidbits for you to devour. first you must learn the hows, whys, and wherefores concerning the release of boffden's bee swarmarmy. a possible question you might have: "how did boffden know feignez requested help from the portuguese rescue birds to help saumboo pull the cart to proina's lair?" good question and simple answer, that is if you believe in the communication transfer of sleepstate dreams. you do, don't you? you see, feignez's first mistake was her failure to up the milligram dose of the poison she slipped in frau werzenwozen's water. instead of killing her as she initailly intended, it merely became a powerful soporific that placed her in a comatose slumber which froze her wakeful action. most importantly, it did not prevent communication between her and boffden. it failed to stop her ability to reach boffden through the metathetic transfer of vital information via dreams. "many waters cannot quench love." neither can attempted murders. although frau werzenwozen, with closed eyes and even respirations appeared to be asleep, her mind was as keenly aware as a siamese cat on the retro vinyl tile of a rural pennsylvania farmhouse's midnight kitchen floor following the trail of an oblivious mouse. her ears were completely tuned to all conversation and sounds of activity occuring within her proximity. simply said, she was no fool. she knew what the fuck was going on. and so when boffden laid his weary head down to sleep, it was frau werzenwozen's dreams that played in the theatre of his soul. images like feignez telling saumboo their journey was to get help for frau werzenwozen when she was actually leading them to proina. another image of the proina sign hidden behind the wild cherry tree. the time when feignez twisted the german murder threat to sound like a request for food. and most recently, feignez's call for help from the portuguese rescue birds in pulling the cart. and when boffden woke, he did so with the knowledge of proina's malicious intentions and therefore sent his swarmarmy of punkass bees in an effort to counterattack.
