Insomnia does strange things to the brain at night, in that period of sleep where your body gives every indication of sleep and your mind steadfastly refuses to cooperate. It's been with me as long as I can remember, that complete inability to turn my brain off, no matter how exhausted I am. I fall asleep eventually, but the half dream-like, necessary wasteful hours of mental ramble catch up with you after a while. Complete wakefulness + exhaustion is an experience that would not be missed.

It's exactly like riding a horse under overarching green leaved trees. I don't know how he did it. I don't know how you did it. It's like the thought of you is touch. It's like you knew before me even though time doesn't run backwards. It's like your kisses meant something, with him waiting for me on the hill. Oh, it's still green spring, but I'll never hear it without seeing you. Just keep riding on.

She said "I can tell you were close to your dad when you were growing up." I just laughed and laughed...thats all I could do...

soon you will only have bright colours inside you, together with some soft pinks and greens, you will not be empty, i promise you. i love to sleep because my dreams are special these days, maybe one day my sleeping pattern will become more balenced.
