x the song comes flowing out of my mouth //i'm not here// while i read ravenously //this isn't happening// until my mind turns to this noise -- there's an almost thought ~a thought without words~ and the song in my mouth breaks into giggling 030307

thieums Absurdity says : life has no meaning.

Existensialism says : life has no meaning but the one you give it.

If you have no reason to live, then you're absurd, but if you choose an absurd reason to live, then you're existentialist... I need some sleeping pills, now.

oldephebe Hamlet went through the mill and shared his inner cosmos whether anyone wanted to hear it or not.

Personally, some of the narratives of the bible not only serve to inculcate or spell out the tenents of my faith but they act also as a guide, I mean there it is in black white and red, the path to restoration, how a man can restore himself, how the struggle is not so uncommon. We can press on, we can thrive even in adverse circumstances by ascribing a relative existential validity to the good times and the bad times and yes the idea of transcendance in this context is well the dynamic agent of faith...I mean that you know you take a parable, all of it's inherent symbols and you translate it and apply it your life and the churning seas are calmed by the application of a simple truth, a revelation of He who I identify as God or the incarnation of God's Love toward us (Jesus Christ the ragged carpenter who challenged us to consider others before ourselves.) In this world compassion and the humility that issues out of it is a radical idea. Even now two thousand years later..so Hamlet, Jesus Christ, The teachings of the Buddha and so forth are yeah really radical guides on teaching that one always has the option, the option to ascribe a certain meaning to the issues we encounter in our daily lives.

They call me Truth If everything is absurd, then absurdity is absurd. If everything is meaningless, then meaninglessness is meaningless. Then even that isn't worth believing in or forming ideas about, but yet we do. We can't turn something into nothing no matter now many labels we put on it.

Yet they are both still beautiful and intriguing concepts.
