I was pouring myself a glass of juice. Cranberry juice. That see through deep red stuff. Blood. When you drink it, it tastes sweet and leaves you with a bitter aftertaste. Life's like that, one day you can't get enough of it and the next you wish you weren't alive. It's kind of second guessing, should I drink it for the thrills I get at the beginning even though I'm going to get stabbed in the end? Should I accept all the good things I get in life even when I know that they are going to disappear or corrode into meangingless thoughts. While I was pouring my glass tonight it started to over flow and for some reason I kept on pouring, I just stood there watching the flow of liquid escape the glass confines and flood the counter. On it's path it stained everything it touched and as long is I poured it it didn't stop flowing or moving. When I awoke into reality I was left with a big mess to clean up and alot more juice to drink then I had planned on. Life starts handing you stuff you can't help but want and need. You yearn for it. You'll take as much as you can get your filthy hands on. Soon you'll have more than you can handle and you'll start to lose everything that you gained, everything that you stole. You will start to feel like you are on your lowest of lows and that you've lost everything. You feel like everything around you has got so much more than you've ever had. once you lose one thing it'll seem like you've lost EVERYTHING. Everything all at once and you will seep and make every person that passes you by a miserable as yourself. Feelings are like that, they are passable and transparent. What one person sees, they will feel. Luckily you are always given a chance to clean up. It's if you take the chance to whipe away everything you've lost and start to look at what you still have that you realize that life isn't just about living. You have to appreciate whatever you're handed that improves you because you might just lose it on account of your own greed. Life's like a glass of cranberry juice, you have to watch how much you are willing to pour, because that's potentially how much you could lose. Ask yourself, what are you willing to lose?
