1. Alone on an island, Death befriends me She courts my heart, Beckons my body She is the light, And life the tunnel 2. Your arms are always open – Death 3. Dying is no longer a nightmare, it is a dream a comfort, an end to the trouble 4. I long to vanish into the belly of the sea. 5. Water runs below the bridge, It never stops moving I want to fall for the last time 6. it doesn’t stop choking you – life a noose is quicker 7. I stopped living a long time ago. somehow consciousness remains this is my last thought . 8. Each breath - is pain. Who pushes the air into my lungs while I dig my grave a little deeper? 9. I used to see the stars – their bursting white, Now I stare at the vast blackness That is all. there is. 10. God, It is a kindness to take a man before he has grown weary of time 11. Merciful Father, Did you make man because you were lonely? 12. still silent voice, Have you ever contemplated suicide? Lost faith in your world? 13. Rock of Salvation, Have you become a tree? A sky? A river? An unconscious living-dead thing? Why Lord? Why? 14. They lower my box into the ground Mother’s tears. Father’s tears. Brother’s tears. Sisters’ tears.
