has got to be one of the most mind twisting, eye gouging, and emotionally stimulating anime films ever. I have to see it again! The animation is beyond sharp. And the underlying messages are beyond comprehension. There will never be another like this one.

i love anime. I love evangelion and blue sub and cowboy bebop and vampire hunter d and akira and ghost in the shell and mononoke and grave of the fire flies and perfect blue and lodoss war, and boogiepop phantom.
they create such a mood and the animation is exsqisite and the action scenes are awesome and the plots are always involved and great and they leave something to think about at the end usually
I still think the END OF EVANGELION is the most interesting anime I have ever seen. I both loved and hated it. The last scene with Asuka and Shinji on the island made me shiver
