My family makes an effort to buy from environmentally supportive & friendly companies besides companies that do not test on animals so one can attain a relatively good degree of ethics within this primitive system. I think that the biggest victims of this system is the environment and the poor. The system makes it nearly impossible for most of the poor to rise above their indignant station even with sixteen hour work-days! Peruse a wide array of literature on this, particularly that literature composed by the poor or formerly poor and you will see what I mean! However, I do agree that this subject has now ventured too far from Daria, so let's return to the farewells.
