Strideo THE SHOWBOX* contains a copy of MACKIE MAGAZINE 39 which is filled with articles about Air's Life. Air was famous for starting "SugarpotWeb" whitch was known for it's use of illustrations in whitch people are portayed drinking from cans of Pocari Sweat. "It was my desire to create a feeling of HEART WASH to complete my EMPTY-HEART" Air says sipping from a coffee mug as he sat behind his desk. "When I started SugarpotWeb I was having a tough time in my life. I needed to do something other than sit in the MoonGraveyard all day. The solution came from the inspiration that comes from my artwork." Cardinal Vision played a large part in Air's ability to create his Pocari Sweat Portraits, allowing him to see subtleties that most would not. "Ah yes, Cardinal Vision," Air recalls "Jimmypop was the first person to introduce me to such a powerful technique you know. He was quite influential in his day. It was unfortunate when he died. His work still influenceses me today. Its got that unshakable feeling, you know?" Air takes another sip from his coffee mug as he reflects. "I really miss those days at the PencilDrawingHouse when I was his apprentice. Those were special times. He used to tell me that the secret to using Cardinal Vision was to Empty The Invisible and it took me a very long time to understand what he meant, you know? I remember when we would stay up all night drawing Fill in Blank Cartoons. What a riot! It was really fun." Air looks up contemplatively and sighs. "Yeah, those were the days. I developed my best painting techniques back then. We felt as though we could have filled the White Sky with Fire Gods, and all by the light of a dim lamp. It was a few years after my apprenticeship ended that I had the idea for SugarpotWeb" Air says. "I was working in the Citron Cafe as a barista when I spilled some coffee on a table cloth and I thought that the stain looked like Ernest Borgnine drinking a bottle of Pocari Sweat. Some times inspiration just hits you like that. That was when I knew I had to start painting portriats of people drinking Pocari Sweat and SugarpotWeb was the perfect engine for my expression."
