well the SHIT would be a matrix of single pixel gifs that can be made any color. So that you could either upload an image whole...or draw your own..pixel by pixel or with a pointing device like finger painting.
(course you may have me on "ignore" so this might all just be breath to the wind..)

It could be somewhere where you post photos so that they are linked, grouped and tagged into groups and take a multitude of forms. So you can see an individual photo, but always in the context of others. And you can move from one to another in a variety of ways. Geographical, chronological, by photographer, by topic, by colour, by size, by theme...
Something like if photosynth was combined with flickr.
Photosynth is the one truly amazing thing microsoft has ever done (if all that it promises could ever come true).

how does this sound?
you post a photo and perhaps a caption, people respond with their photos.
so... I could upload a picture of a tree, and you would respond with other pictures of trees, or things that the picture reminds you of.
think word_association, but with photos/drawings/images.

Unfortunately I have another major project to be working on. You'll all love it when it's done. But I learned long ago not to show off my toys until I'm done with them. And this is far from done, so you'll have to wait before you can see it.
