Years ago, people who only sang weren't referred to as "bands", so why are they now? It doesen't seem fair that those who actually play instruments have to share the term with those who can only sing and dance around. Shouldn't the term "band" only go to those who do more than just sing?! Is nothing sacred anymore?!! hehe! Okay,I'm done ranting now... :) 030614 ... endless desire i was a fan. until my brother introduced me to real music. . .way back in the 6th or 7th grade. most people go through the boy 'band' ((group, just for you pobody)) stage. girls that is. i was babysitting today to earn a few extra bucks and the little kid goes and turns on the backstreet boys. on his radio. their first cd. i thought it was hilarious. man i haven't heard that stuff in ages. and the scary thing is, i knew all the words. and unfortunately, now one of the songs is stuck in my head. scary that i am young enough to have listened to them when so many people here thought of them as some stupid tween band. funny how that works and how we are all here just blathing away. blather is perfect because it is designed for anyone to express themselves(lf)--even about things as silly as the backstreet boys. 030615 what's it to you? who go blather from
