To preach is to deliver a sermon. A sermon is a monologue of a religious nature. Religion is your beliefs of, or relationship with, God. God is the whole of creation, including you and me. Your relationship with me, with the world, with the universe, and with yourself, these are all part of your relation with God. These are your religion, and yours alone, and every word you say from that, every strong belief you voice, every conviction you hold, is a little itty bitty sermon, a tiny little prayer. Even when no one else hears them. Perhaps especially if no one else hears them. It's not about pulpits, or changing minds, or religious tomes, or even beikng heard. It's about giving voice to what's inside. There are a lot of negative connotations to this word. None of those are what I mean.
