John O'Neill was hired by the Nixon Administration in the 70's to rake shit at Kerry in the wake of his anti-war remarks before the U.S. Senate on behalf of VVAW, that he is affiliated with this campaign is not surprising.
Larry Thurlow, one of the most vocal members of the "Swift Boat" smear team is, through his role in this campaign, casting his own Bronze Star in doubt as it was awarded to him for the same incident. He claims that the only reason he was awarded was on the basis of Kerry's report, whcih means that Thurlow either knowingly kept an award he didn't deserve for the last 30+ years or has been bought by Karl Rove and other representatives of BushCo and is lying now.
One of Bush's campaign offices in Florida this afternoon was just caught handing out flyers for a function/rally featuring the "Swift Boat..." group, in direct contradiction to the national campaign's denials that the Bush/Cheney '04 re-election/appointment/coronation campaign has any ties to the "Swift Boat..." group (which, as an IRS code 527 organization is prohibited from having ANY form of direct affiliation with a campaign for elective office)
if the truth is that 2+2=5 and that we have always been at war with Eastasia, then , yeah, i suppose that these guys are for "Truth"
