it's about 10 degrees outside the heater is broken i just got back to new_york from california where it was warm [to me, at least] i'm wearing two pairs of socks i don't know what else to put on i'm so cold

It's the arctic air that's making it so cold,combined with the fact that the temperatures keep getting unusually warm,followed by sudden(very)cold snaps. Layer your clothing,if possible. Sounds odd,but if you have mittens that aren't too tight-fitting you can wear them to bed to keep your fingers warm. Also,this is a good time to use the_breathing_hole Good luck,Jane. :) *is suffering through the same weather in chilly ontario*

I hate it when I forget to add stuff =P I meant to add that when we get the warm weather,we get used to that so it makes the cold weather feel even colder than it might if we had a "normal" winter. p.s. drink warm drinks,and only go outside when you absolutely have to

jane: here's a chilly thought--with the windchill factored in,it felt like minus 50 below zero(farenheit!) It's never been this cold that I remember. *sneaks back into igloo before I become "frozen pobody on a stick" * =D
