I wish you could have been here. 030317 ... pipedream i wish it would rain here. it's a gorgeous sping day, sunny with a cool breeze but i wish it would rain like it did last month- great buckets of pouring, wind-whipped rain from a sky the colour of dryer lint...i jumped in a real big puddle, born from three days of near-continuous rain, and a gust of wind blew all the splash water to the left and onto a friend of mine. rain smells good. 030317 ... wingedSerpent it rained here yesterday. Intermittent downpours. This morning as i left the house, the sun, cruelly bright though the hole in the clouds and the newly scrubbed sky was shining through. i got caught in one of those sunbeams that jesus doesn't want me for and had to slip my shades on. I decided that it was a cool day and with the time i had, i would walk to the office instead of taking the bus. On my way, a couple of blocks from my house, one of the large trucks coming off the freeway came barelling off the access road at such a speed that the draft it carried behind it as it disrupted the air in its path knocked me off-balance enough that i shifted one foot off of the curb and lost my footing in the mud, twisting my ankle on the way down. only my backpack escaped clean, i had to walk back home and take another shower. i can only shudder at what the rest of the week may see fit to throw at me. 030318 ... oren ♫ Then the boy drew near Kissed away each tear As she heard him softly say... 060520 ... falling_alone it rained all week 060521 ... epitome of incomprehensibility Correction: a week and a half!!!
