heroes girl_jane In today’s society, I don’t believe in heroes. I guess I don’t believe in heroes in any society, time, or place. Heroes are always ordinary people who do something that seems impossible. Obviously, if they accomplished it, it never was impossible, just difficult. As children we’re told that we can do anything we set our minds to. The people society labels as “heroes” are people who followed through with that idea, and anybody could do what they had done in a difficult situation. So, if we’re all capable of doing something, why put the person who got recognized for it on a pedestal? 020324 ...
