People will only change the course of their lives from within themselves. You can act as an agent of change only by your example. If people see you as having something they want (i.e. a better life), then they will consider it. After all, if you're broke or your life is a mess, you become living proof of a failed doctrine. For the sake of brevity, i will only list a few: 1) I don't think that God is 'beyond all comprehension' as you put it. That's what all clerics resort to when asked a direct question. This is an easy 'out' for anyone who does not understand the nature of godhood. 2) Your interpretation of the three blind men parable, while colourfully embellished, is open to debate. 3) I know for a fact that God neither wants nor needs us to do mushrooms ('shrooms') on a mountaintop in order to walk with him. You're talkin' to an ex-druggy here, so i speak from experience. In short, while it sounds as though your heart is in the right place, you seem confused.
